The Glastonbury String Trio played these two pieces at a recent concert. It was fantastic to hear them on a different combination of instruments.
The Minehead audience came out in force on a very stormy afternoon to support our concert. We are very grateful for this and for their generosity in our raffle, refreshments and retiring collection. |

Review from Mary Elliott from St. John's Church I [would like to] tell you how much I enjoyed the concert last night. I thought it was delightful and so typically English. Pastoral scenes kept going through my mind as the lilting melodies poured forth from the musicians. The picture on your poster set the scene and epitomised the Somerset countryside. |

An outstanding concert with The Fitzwarren Musicians & The Exmoor Ensemble at Sangha House. It was wonderful to have Lucia Svecova as a guest conductor, she really drew the best from the ensemble.
We had our biggest audience so far, and they were very appreciative. Luis Martelo brought in some important people. As always, it was great to have Paul Dawson recording the concert. It was also amazing to have a review from Caroline Ellis. Portfolio Holder for Culture at Somerset West and Taunton |

Really special concert today with the Fitzwarren Musicians and Luís Martelo - Music Store & Music School. All yes ALL original compositions by Jeannette Owen and Alice Thomas, with lyrics for the second half ‘Views of Exmoor’ by the talented Philippa Johnson. Amazing performance by 13 year old Matilda White on violin who can also turn her hand to percussion. Wow! Luis as ever brilliant - love the Luis’ Blues Jeannette wrote for you. Just completely delightful from start to finish. so many brilliant creative collaborations happening here. Sangha House hosted with Moore's Music+ Emporium also supporting. We had a good audience for this event who all said they enjoyed it very much.
We sold our own tickets online for the first time and held a raffle, which helped bring in a few pennies. The Village Hall in Norton Fitzwarren is a fantastic (but little known) venue. |
Some very happy photos of the audience congratulating various performers

A very successful concert at CIC Taunton on 8th September 2022, (requiring an impromptu rendition of the National Anthem due to the announcement of the Queen's death, literally heard on the radio on the way to the concert), performed by members of The Fitzwarren Chamber Orchestra, and featuring works by Jeannette Owen and other local composers Natalie Clayton, Emily Feldberg, Rupert Kirby & Alice Thomas. |
The MA composers at Bath Spa put on an online concert of our works.
It was a very diverse and interesting show.
